You are to write “rant and rave” (R&R) reactions to the weekly readings, then read your classmates’ rant and raves by the beginning of class. They are meant for you to engage issues in the readings and class themes critically prior to class and as a means to begin class discussion. You may use an informal style in your R&Rs, but they are required; they will count toward your participation and final grade.
