- Compare and contrast the Labor Relations processes of the EU countries (Germany, France, Sweden, Ireland, UK) to the process in the U.S. What similarities and differences do you see? What are the common elements within the EU countries and how do they differ from each other? Explore the different outcomes you would expect to see from these different approaches in terms of the three goals of the labor relations process (i.e., efficiency, equity, voice).
- Select an example of what you would consider a good model of labor relations, and select what you would consider a bad model of labor relations from the various models discussed in the text in Chapter 12. Explain why you selected each model and discuss how each model impacts the goals of the labor relations process.
